If all days could be like this one was, I'd be a happy gal. Cruising through the English countryside in my little Fiat 500 rental, blasting Taylor Swift at full volume, passing endless fields of wild flowers and rolling pastures of cows and sheep. Dreamy. And made dreamier still by arriving at my first official stop in The Cotswolds.
Bibury is widely celebrated as "the most beautiful village in England", and when you spend a few hours here, it's easy to see why. Wandering over picturesque stone bridges and along its historic Arlington Row feels like stepping into a fairytale. The 14th century row of honey-coloured stone cottages was originally built in 1380 as a monastic wool store, later converted into weavers' cottages, and is now one of the most photographed streets in the UK.
